crochet creativity...or adding rainbow hues to my home

So here's a little Crochet with Raymond goodness :o) granny bunting to brighten up the downstairs loo. Trying to sneak in pink to this house any which way I can XD Tweaked the pattern a little and it worked okay...maybe I should have just done it as Alice wrote it! Next time eh?
Here's some Attic 24 crochet goodness - Lucy's teeny tiny hearts incorporated into some window danglers for my crystals which (when it's sunshiney, obviously) fill the living room with fabulous fragments of rainbow - LOVE it!  However their old strings were rather sad and worn and they were in need of some colourful craftiness.  So: ta dah!  We are yet to have the sun required to create the rainbows yet *sigh*

Now Zee is looking mightily unimpressed isn't she?  Well she's not too happy on account of having her fabulous purple wool hair being combed out.  We're off to a Blythe Meet in Manchester at the weekend you see - so she needs to look her best - she'll be fine after a little conditioner.  It's always tricky choosing which girl to take to a meet but Zee and Betty have won their places this time.  It's less stressful taking custom girls - easier to repair if they get scratched...  The stock girls are rather more high maintenance.

So half term is nearly finished.  I sooo needed this half term.  Was really struggling towards the end of this half of the Spring term.  Dunno if it's the lack of sunshine but my resilience really takes a beating at this time of year.  And there's only so much gin and Vimto one can consume before that becomes an issue...

Have actually enjoyed the company of my boys this week though :o)  No honest, really!  Heheheh!  It's been a big deal that K's been off work too this week - it's mean't a really calm and chilled week.  Just the way I hoped it would be.
